Information sources in Biotechnology
a seminar organized by the

COMENIUS UNIVERSITY IN BRATISLAVA, FACULTY OF NATURAL SCIENCES
and the
European Commission SLING Project
with support within the EU structural funds project National infrastructure for technology transfer support in Slovakia – NITT SK.
The aim of the seminar is to inform researchers, scientists, students and patent experts active in area of life-sciences about possibilities of patenting biotechnology research results, including biological sequences patenting. The specialised information resources, databases and analytical tools exploitable in the process of biotechnological IPR protection will be presented as well. The invited speakers come from the European Patent Office, European Bioinformatics Institute, Swiss Bioinformatics Institute, Industrial Property Office of the Slovak Republic and PATLIB centre of the Slovak Centre of Scientific and Technical Information.
Participation is free of charge. Slovak/English translation will be provided.
